API Evaluation Terms
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Translations of this page are provided for convenience. The English text is the binding version.
1. Scope
These API Evaluation Terms apply when Jaize Tech gives you access to the Sawt API, model checkpoints or related tools for evaluation ("Evaluation Access"). They add to our Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Access and keys
Evaluation Access is personal to you or your organisation and is granted at our discretion. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for all use made with them. Tell us immediately if a key is exposed so we can revoke it.
3. Permitted use
You may use Evaluation Access only to test and evaluate Sawt internally, for example to judge quality, latency or fit for a product you are considering. Small internal demos and prototypes are fine.
4. Restrictions
- No production use or serving end users at scale without a separate written agreement.
- No using outputs to train, fine-tune or benchmark a competing model.
- No publishing benchmarks or comparisons without our prior written consent.
- Respect the rate limits and quotas we set.
- No reverse engineering, extracting model weights, or sharing access with third parties.
5. Outputs
Subject to these terms, you may use outputs generated during evaluation for your internal evaluation purposes. If you share outputs outside your organisation, label them as AI-generated and follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Your inputs
Inputs you send through the API are processed to provide the service and to detect abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send sensitive personal data unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
7. Feedback
We welcome feedback on Sawt. You agree we may use it to improve our products without any obligation to you.
8. Confidentiality
Non-public information about Sawt that we share with you (such as unreleased models, documentation or pricing) is confidential. Use it only for the evaluation and do not disclose it without our permission.
9. Fees and availability
Evaluation Access is currently free of charge. It comes without any service level, uptime or support commitment, and the API may change without notice.
10. Term and termination
Evaluation Access lasts until we or you end it. Either party may end it at any time. When it ends, stop using the API and delete any confidential information we gave you.
11. Disclaimer and liability
Evaluation Access is provided "as is". The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms and Conditions apply in full.
12. Contact
For questions about Evaluation Access, reach us through our contact page and choose "Partnership" or "Research".
